Samantha & Brent | Gordonsville, Virginia Wedding Photographer

There is nothing I love more about shooting a wedding day than when a couple is head over heels in love. From the first time I FaceTimed (is that word now?) with Samantha, I knew this was true of her and Brent. These two have been together for almost a decade. They’re supportive of each other and wonderful parents to their baby girl, Emory. As I spent time with the girls getting ready, I watched Sam interact with her family and closest friends and knew this had been a highly anticipated day by everyone involved. These two were surrounded by such an immense amount of love.

From the little details that ensured Emory felt like a big part of the day to the heartfelt speeches from Sam’s sister-in-law and Brent’s groomsmen who had been around since childhood- it was clear that this wedding was the start of an everlasting marriage. And those kinds of weddings? Those are the ones that fuel my love for this job.

Sam and Brent (and Emory!), thank you for the pleasure of bring the one to capture these memories for your little family. Your gallery will be to you soon!

I love this shot of Sam holding Emory’s teddy while getting ready.

So after the father/daughter and mother/son dances, Brent danced with Emory. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house, including myself.
